Below is another one of my version of Eggs Benedict, replacing the usual muffin with toasted Gardenia bread, the usual bacon with grilled hungarian sausage and I think my hollandaise sauce is much better this time around.

I'm not really much of a fan of Japanese cuisine but since I wanted to try something new I encourage dad to eat at Philippines most popular Ramen House and Sushi Bar, Rai Rai Ken in SM Sta. Rosa. Little did I know that the restaurant is actually owned by a Filipino family (owner has the same name as that of my brother's).

We ordered Gyoza (Japanese pork dumplings) priced at Php110 for 6pcs, Gomoku Ramen (mixed seafoods) at Php190 and Mabo Ramen (Php170), California Maki (Php155), Green Tea and Red Ice Tea. I wasn't able to taste the Mabo but I love the taste of Gomoku. Japanese Ramen is indeed delicious! :)

There weren't much customers when we went there, Mom even thought people are still scared of the radiation issue in Japan. One thing's for sure though, I NEED TO BRUSH UP ON MY CHOPSTICK SKILLS!

I can't remember how many Pizza Hut Palm Cards I've had. For a big family like ours who enjoys pizza very much, having a palm card is a steal! It just makes our pizza bonding much more affordable because of the free pizza we get!

How to get a PALM CARD?

• Pay the P379 membership fee
• Claim your new Pizza Hut Palm Card within a few minutes

Or just do what I did, order online (click the palm card and your pizza order). When they call for confirmation, simply tell them you'll be using the palm card for your free pizzas. :) Below are the latest pizzas we enjoyed. I noticed though that stuffed crust pizza are thin compared to others

KFC: Supreme Bowl Chicken ala King

Hungry for food (again), my sister and I took a scrumptious meal trying on a latest offering, KFC's Supreme Bowl Chicken ala King. And boy I love everything on its bowl! The sweetness of the sauce and combining my top 2 favorite food of all time - chicken and corn! I'm in heaven!

2 Original Recipe fillets topped with mushroom sauce all over steaming white rice and sided with corn. For Php100 (including drink), I think it's a good price to pay. I can't wait to have this meal again, or I'll probably try the other one next time, Kung Pao Chicken, which is said to be a bit spicier.

MAFBEX 2011: A Foodie Experience

For the people within the food and beverage industry, the Manila Food and Beverage Expo (MAFBEX) is the biggest and much anticipated annual food showcase. I was at the World Trade Center on the third day of opening and I must say, it's definitely one of my best foodie experience! That day, everything was all about food and my hunger for food wisdom. I think if one were to plot out my brain space, food would inhabit a prime chunk of real estate :)

I arrived 15 minutes prior to the opening. Already, groups of students and entrepreneurs were eagerly waiting outside. When the glass doors opened, I wasted no time, paid the Php50 entrance and marched my way inside. Upon entering, lines of table settings were on display. People who want to set up parties even from home will learn a lot as to how tables are set and the design elements that goes well with each theme. As I made my way inside, stocks of elegant stainless steel cooking wares greeted me, this is indeed a shopping haven for kitchenware fanatics.

Aside from shopping at unbelievable discount tags (from house sets to commercial use), one will also be thrilled to learn a lot about cooking thru scheduled cooking demo, seminars or even just chatting around with local and international chefs seen from different booths. With this year's theme: Taking You Around the World in 5 Days, it would surely take one's foodie palate around the world. One great food I tasted was Korea's Egg Cake. Simple yet delicious.

Mafbex 2011 Video clips

Aside from mouthwatering plates, one thing that got me in pure amazement was this gadget called Airfryer - Fry all food without using cooking oil! Now that's healthy technology!

After a day of amazing food trip experience, I went out the hall already thinking of cooking the recipes I learned (and tasted) that day. I'm also armed with brochures that I have yet to give my uncle and hopefully he gets to choose which kitchen equipment is perfect for our humble "retreat house" in Lake Sebu.

Bintang-bintang tak elok pasal bintang itu terlalu kebaratan. Lagipun banyak kelab dah ada bintang maka ada baiknya untuk kelainan Kelantan mulakan trend letak Bulan pada jersi. Amaciem?

Mari Bercuti Bersama Pemain Bolsepak EPL

Slow news day

Musim dah tamat dan tiada berita sepak bola yang menarik. Gosip perpindahan juga agak hambar dengan kebanyakkan perpindahan yang bakal berlaku hanya melibatkan pemain berprofil kecil.Jadi marilah menukar SOKERNET menjadi GOSSIPNET untuk beberapa minggu sementara menunggu musim baru bermula. Hari ini kita lihat bagaimana pemain dari EPL mengenjoice cuti akhir musim mereka.

Saudara Peter Crouch bercuti di Barbados bersama tunangan dan anak luar nikah mereka. Abby Clancy masih sanggup bercuti dengan abang galah panjang walaupun ketika Abby mengandung Crouch kantol bersenggama dengan seorang pelacur.

Saudara Phil Neville bercuti di selatan Spain bersama dua orang anaknya. Phil Neville boleh tahan bandannya. Lebih macho dari badan aku, Lucius, Pidomat dan Abdul Sokernet. Hanya Pipiyapong dan Saudagar Garam ada chance lawan badan ketak-ketak si Neville.

Sesuai dengan status duda hangat beliau, Ashley Cole bersantai riang di Las Vegas. Seperti bekas pengurus beliau Carlo Ancelotti, Ashley menghabiskan wang pound sterlingnya dengan mengisap rokok, minum arak dan memakai topi bangang yang selalunya dipakai oleh budak muka mintak penumbok di Pavilion atau Wangsa Maju.

Sementara itu Gareth Barry dan Joe Hart , seperti Ashley juga bercuti di Las Vegas. Walaupun mereka pemain Man City, kedua-duanya nampak sangat intim. Adakah mereka sebenarnya MEN UNITED? Gone are the days when one needs a landline phone and a ready number of the local's establishment dug from the sheets of Yellow Pages just to order a meal.

Today, with a lot of households having PC's and internet connection, ordering online is made easier, faster and FREE! Forget about calling them and let them call you instead. Doing this saves you much on your phone billing plus ordering online is actually fun and sort of liberating because every info you need is just a click away.

I, for example have been ordering online for years now. Back when ordering online wasn't the "in" thing yet, I would need to have enough load on my cellphone just to call, say Pizza Hut. If I don't have a leaflet with me, I still have to ask for their latest pizza offering, sizes, prices and other inquiries and this eats up a lot of time and cellphone load. Now I simply log on their website and order (It's much faster if one creates his/her own account especially if you intend to order more than once). Minutes later they'll be calling your phone to confirm your order and that's it!

Since no one is writing in this god forsaken shit for brain blog I am going to dispense with the usual pleasantries by saying..

"HAHAHHHAH KELANTAN GOT FUCKING PWNED"

Seperti ribuan peminat ABK (Anyone But Kelantan) semalam, aku melompat-lompat kegembiraan bila Mohd Nordin Alias menyudahkan umpanan pemain apa tah nama dia ( I am not gonna pretend I know the name of the Ganu players) untuk membenan pasukan Happy Warrior pada minit ke 109.

Permainan semalam sebenarnya bosan. First half buat gua bosan gila babi sampai terpaksa main angry bird. Passing macam jubor dan jumlah shot on target boleh dikira dengan jumpa telur yang ada dicelah kangkang aku. It was that shitty. Permainan hanya menjadi TEH AWESUMZ selepas Azwan Roya menjaringkan gol untuk Kelantan. Chip yang dilakukan beliau membuatkan separuh stadium bergegar. Bendera Kelantan dan Pas berkibar separuh stadium. Sultan Kelantan buat muka senyum sindir di tepi Sultan Mizan sambil mengecek Blackberry beliau. Mungkin baginda menghantar BBM kepada Sultan Bola tetapi ini semua hanya postulasi aku.

Secara serta merta perlawanan menjadi menarik. Terengganu terus mengamuk bagai penyu luka yang dicuri telurnya di Rantau Abang. Serangan bertalu-talu dilakukan ke arah gawang yang dikawal Khairul Fahmi Che Mat. Pemain Terengganu yang sebelum gol tadi sendu dan lemau, secara tiba-tiba menjadi cergas seperti Saleem mendapat suntikan Adrenalin selepas overdose cocaine di sebuah rumah tumpangan.

Irfan Bakti, coach Terengganu tak henti-henti memberikan arahan kepada anak didiknya supaya menyerang sehingga bajunya basah kuyup. M Karathu pula hanya duduk diam macam Wenger. Mungkin dia rasakan Terengganu sudah tak mampu melawan. Apalah sangat seekor Penyu terluka jika dibandingkan dengan Kijang Emas? Ye tak?..

Terengganu tidak menyerah kalah dan mencuba sedaya upaya. Pemain Kelantan pula sekor-sekor jatuh golek-golek , kejang otot dan minta ditukar. Sia-sia Al Jabbar sponsor tapi badan pemain Kelantan masih lagi lemah macam taik. Mungkin mereka tidak mengamalkan DR JISM dengan betul? Mungkin perlu beli herba yang dijual ABDUL SOKERNET pula kerana Al Jabbar tak boleh diharap. Kena tackle sedikit berguling-guling macam Sonic The Hedgehog sekiranya Sonic berwarna merah dan tahu main bolasepak. Akibat dari play acting yang sangat awesome ni (best acting injured seen on the pitch since Rivaldo) pengadil perlawanan Mohammad Nafeez Abdul Wahab memberikan 4 minit masa tambahan. Dalam masa tambahan pemain Kelantan sekali lagi main golek-golek tempang teng teng setiap 30 saat. Akibatnya masa ditambah lagi sebanyak 4 minit untuk memberikan jumlah Irfan Bakti Time sebanyak 8 minit.

Tinggal 30 saat sebelum wisel ditiupkan pemain Kelantan, Mohd Daudsu melakukan header yang cukup cantik masuk kedalam gawang sendiri. The stadium EXPLODED without any use of firecrackers. Peminat Terengganu melompat keriangan dan begitu juga briged ABK seantero dunia. Seperti Justin Bieber, Terengganu memegang teguh motto NEVER SAY NEVER dan perlawanan ini disambung ke masa tambahan.

Dalam masa tambahan Kelantan seolah hilang hala tuju. Terengganu beberapa kali melakukan percubaan bahaya tetapi Khairul Fahmi tangkas menyelamatkan keadaan. Walaubagaimanapun gawang dan harapan peminat Kelantan dirobek pada minit ke 109. Tiada apa yang boleh dilakukan oleh tunang si Jejari Runcing. Bola bergolek masuk kedalam gawang. Sekali lagi stadium meletup. Kali ini giliran DYMM Seri Baginda Yang Dipertuan Agong untuk buat muka senyum sinis kepada Sultan Muhammad V. Blackberry Agong ditonyoh mungkin sekali lagi BBM dihantar ke Sultan Bola.

Wisel penamat ditiupkan pada minit ke 120. Pemain Ganu berlari-lari anak macam di Muzadalifah. Pemain Kelantan terus tersembam ke tanah kerana frust. Di Astro Arena boleh lihat Anuar Mosespun muka kelat. Tidak ada pula camera pada muka Sathianathan, bekas coach Kelantan. Bila zoom seluruh stadium kelihatan beribu-ribu seat kosong. Penyokong Kelantan dah balik awal-awal . Punya la frust sampai tak ada nafsu nak bakal kerusi stadium tahun ni!
